Dr Mahdokht Shaibani was invited to deliver a lecture on “Expansion-Tolerant Architectures for Stable Cycling of Ultra-High Loading Sulfur Cathodes in Lithium-Sulfur Batteries” at the International Conference on Lithium-Sulfur-Batteries, Beijing, China which was held between 12-15 August 2019.

This created the opportunity for researchers from NSEL to collaborate with researchers from Tsinghua University, China on a Li-S commercialization project funded by Cleanfuture Energy, Australia.

In addition, researchers from NSEL visited Wuxi Lead Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd to discuss the large-scale manufacturing of lithium-Sulfur batteries.
